
Point Richards
Dirt Rock Civil was engaged to construct a new rock groyne and associated excavator platform at Point Richards, designed to improve coastal protection and manage sand movement along the foreshore.
The works involved the careful demolition of an existing jetty adjacent to the new groyne location, along with the removal of four existing navigational aids via barge extraction. All marine activities were managed in accordance with the approved Vessel Traffic Management Plan, including the establishment of marine exclusion zones to ensure public and navigational safety.
